Welcome to Furiendly. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Furiendly mobile application (the "App"), operated by Furiendly ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Furiendly. By using the App, you represent that you are 18 or older and are legally able to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for the information you provide and the activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your pet, and to keep it up to date. You may sign in using your phone number or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the device and sign-in method you use to access the App.
Furiendly helps pet owners discover and connect with other pet owners and their pets nearby. Furiendly is a platform for making these introductions. We do not verify the identity, background, or conduct of users, and we are not responsible for the actions of any user, online or in person. Any interaction or meeting you arrange with another user is at your own risk.
To keep Furiendly safe and welcoming, you agree that you will not:
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, messages, and other content you create or share through the App ("User Content"). By sharing User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the right to share it. We may remove content or restrict accounts that we believe violate these Terms, though we are not obligated to monitor content.
The App provides tools to block and report other users and their content. We encourage you to use them if you encounter behavior or content that violates these Terms. We may review reports and take action, including removing content or suspending or terminating accounts, at our discretion. Please use good judgment and prioritize your safety when interacting with or meeting other users.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or if we believe it is necessary to protect other users or the App. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Settings → Delete Account).
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any match or connection will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Furiendly and its owners, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss or harm arising out of or relating to your use of the App or your interactions with other users, including any in-person meetings. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Furiendly and its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.
